How could we withstand the inevitable early “low-ball” offers while being patient and confident that we had made the right decisions about presentation and pricing? Although there was no shortage of agents willing to list and sell our house, Alicia’s local Boca Raton experience and quiet confidence in the process made her the perfect partner for our sales adventure. I say “partner” in that with Alicia we worked through the process, made decisions as we went, and had thoughtful collaboration about every step of the journey to sell the house. We fielded offers, made needed improvements to the property (lots of paint!) and answered many questions from each agent and potential buyer. Alicia’s organization handled each technical step of staging and listing the house flawlessly. They found us an excellent stager and a first-class photographer, resulting in marketing materials that made the house shine. There were some unexpected challenges – like closing a decades old permit – but each challenge was handled with patience, expertise, and calm. Technical expertise aside, Alicia was the absolute best at balancing the various negotiations for the property. She had “a number” in mind, and never waivered from the belief that we had priced the house properly and would get the fair price that we wanted. This is the hardest part of the process – and Alicia was both calming and masterful. In the end, a delightful young family bought our house. I believe all sides felt that it was a fair deal, and the closing occurred with good will all around. Alicia and her organization were highly professional – no doubt about that. But I believe that we also left as friends, taking on a difficult task over a period of 3 months, working together to get the result we wanted.
